Halloween!

Well I have a lot to do with this blog, but I just wanted to stay up with posting. So here is Halloween...

I am not a huge Halloween fan.  Just don't find any joy or enthusiasm in dressing up. The only part I do like is going to a pumpkin patch and picking a pumpkin, and then carving it. I'm having a hard time having enthusiasm with dressing my kids up too, but hey, atleast I'm doing it, right? Anyway, since Halloween was on a Sunday today we just went to a couple different Trunk or Treats at church on Saturday. First we went to ours where they had carnival type games, a spook alley(not too bad but the kids still didn't like it.), and then a trunk or treat where we walked from car to car in the rain. Pal ran ahead of me and Buttercup and kept grabbing handfuls of candy. I was happy when that was over! haha.

After we were done there we drove straight out to my parents church building to join them at their Trunk or Treat. Here we had chilli and cornbread for dinner, and then walked around inside the church from classroom to classroom Trick or Treating. My Dad and Buttercup had fun doing it together(he held her the whole time and she loved it), and Pal just wanted to keep grabbing as much candy out of the bucket as he could again. It was so nice to be inside though. After that we went to my parents house where the kids played with Grandpa and Aunt C, and Grandma got to hold Monkey. We put the kids to bed there and watched How to Train Your Dragon with them since they hadn't seen it yet. It was a fun day!

Monkey wanted to eat the candy too. I don't think so buddy!
