So Proud

I know everyone just wants to see a picture of these handsome guys so here they are!

Yesterday morning my little brother and also my cousin came home from their two year LDS missions!! We were so excited to go greet him at the airport, especially since we didn't get to see my other brother come home from his. Scott got work off so that he could come with the kids and I, and my family, and my aunt and uncle and cousins were there obviously as well. I'm so proud of my my brother and cousin for serving such honorable missions and for being the men that they are. Our families are so blessed!

Some of us walking towards the gate...

Beforehand I helped David and Sydney make signs for my brother. They were SO excited(we all were!) to see him and, David especially, held up the signs very diligently. Sydney is using a lot more words recently and kept saying, "Uncle David! Big plane home! Mission!" She actually also made a lego 'airplane' the night before and said that it was his and that he was inside it.

Since there were two ways they could exit to go to baggage my Mom and Aunt and Uncle stayed at the other end where they could see them from afar and which direction they chose to go. Luckily we picked the right one to stand at, because we got a call that they'd seen them and soon my Mom and Aunt and Uncle were practically running our way. Yeah, I think the excitment was pretty palpable.

Wooooo!!!!

Mom hasn't seen her son in two years...

Sydney and David warmed right up to him...

Proud parents

All of our family who were there. David and Sydney aren't sad like they kinda look. They're very content being right next to Uncle David.

Had to get one with him and I!

Love all the pictures! I've actually been waiting all day for you to post something about it. :) I can't believe how quickly the kids warmed up to him, and the signs are adorable!

Ah, makes me feel a bit chocked up. How awesome! Glad you could be there to welcome them home. Ella loved welcoming Kelliann.

Where did they serve?
My little, I mean, younger brother is turning his papers in soon. His girlfriend is too.
