Christmas 2010!

I know this is SO late. I don't know why but I've been totally unmotivated to blog lately. I'm going to try to be better because I'm not posting anything interesting about my kids and that's what I like.
So every year my Dad's family has a Christmas Eve Eve party (on the 23rd). We got together for a great dinner that tasted just like Cafe Rio or Bajios, and then we chatted and ate goodies. It's always so much fun to see the Farmer family. I took pictures but didn't get around to editing them(what with how motivated I am and all), and don't feel like uploading them at the moment, so I think I'm going to make an album on FB. Yeah.

On Christmas Eve Scott's Brother and his wife and family came over for dinner, the Christmas story, and opening presents. We opened all the presents from the Sorenson side of the family, including some way cute pajamas that Grandma Sorenson made for the twins and David and Sydney. SO cute!

And she made Parker some cute bibs. This is my favorite kind!

Scott's brother Jeff with a new shirt...

Christmas Day we spent with my family. We went over at 8 and the kids opened the rest of their presents there. Sydney loved her doll house!!

And David loved his airplanes(one from us the other from Gma &Gpa Sorenson)!

And also his cool hot wheels toy...

My family got a Kinect and we had a blast playing with that thing! They still are but I'm going back for the first time again tomorrow. Anyway, seriously SO much fun!
Here's Julia and J competing at the hurdles!

And, awful picture, but here's Dad and I competing at hurdles too. That was hard! I beat him in the plain sprint, but man I could not do those hurdles! I'm out of shape!

While we sat down to eat dinner I put Parker behind me with some pots and stuff to entertain him. Several minutes later I look back and he's sucking vigorously on a Hershey kiss, or something, chocolate covering him! It was pretty funny!

That night our cousins the Wilcox's came over and we had an absolute blast telling stories from the 'farm' where we lived growing up, and playing a couple games of "Apples to Apples" and "What if?" This picture is just a silly one of my siblings trying to spell their full names with their hips. Julia won!
It was a great Christmas but went by way too fast!!

The Kinect thing sounds awesome!! Hee hee--I tried running hurdles for real once. I was so confident that I could do it that I decided to run the hurdles when they were facing backwards! I cleared the first two, but failed on the third hurdle. Still have the scar on my knee... Glad you had a fun Christmas!
