On Saturday we got out pretty early to go to a tree farm I'd found online that looked pretty cool. Well it was cool, but all the trees were $44, no exceptions! I was expecting to pick a tree that wasn't as nice a breed for around 20. Anyway, we were already there and the kids were excited, so we decided to just go with it. At that time of morning with the sun shining and the frost on the ground it made it soo beautiful.
We soon decided we wanted a Noble or Grand because in our opinion they just look nicer, and so we started our search. In the end we ended up with a gorgeous, perfectly shaped Grand.

That night we went to our church Christmas party where the kids got to sit on Santas lap. David was excited about it, even though he was shy while he sat there. Beforehand when we were still eating the dinner provided Sydney kept getting right up in my face and saying, "Mommy, Santa is coming to town?!"
Then we came home, put Parker to bed, and let the kids stay up later than normal to help decorate the tree. They loved every minute of it!
I had to take a picture of what they hung. Look how clumped together they are. So cute!

Yeah, I didn't put your new blog on my google reader, so I didn't know when you were updating. I will update it so I don't lose track of you. Great looking tree, better than that one crooked one a couple years ago huh? :)
Did you go to Farmer Browns? We always go there and I know their prices are $44. Crazy! In my parent's area there's a farm where all the trees are $20, so I was used to that! Looks like such a cute tree, though!

That is the most perfect real tree I have ever seen! Good find!! I love how the little kids decorate the one or two tree branches of the tree. It's pretty awesome!!
