A Beautiful Easter

Last Thursday we went to the Tulip Festival, and I should be blogging about that first, but I don't have the pictures yet. I'm still missing our digital camera, so when we went I decided to use my SLR and try out some new film I'm really excited about. I'm still trying to find the best place around here to get them developed, but as soon as I do I will be sharing them for sure.

Friday I made Easter sugar cookies. I recently realized that I have this weird thing for frosting cookies. I don't do it all the time, but once or twice a year I like to just sit down with no interruptions and let my mind go blank while I have fun making each cookie different. Any of you guys like this?
Saturday afternoon we had an Easter egg hunt. My family came to enjoy the company and help hide the eggs, and Scott's older brother Jeff and his family came over too , the twins helping to find the eggs. Thank you to my Mother and Father in law who let me borrow their digital camera's for the fun!

Sydney ended up with a ton of eggs. I guess she got the most help, being the youngest. :)

Such a happy boy.

Parker was so cute in the little hat! He was having a blast just walking around and feeling every one's happiness.

Sydney walked up to Parker and gave her a couple of her eggs. It was so cute to see her share like that!

The men who were there. ;) My Father in law was busy in his garden...but here's Scott, Dad, and Jeff.

My two beautiful youngest sisters...

Grandpa Farmer playing with Parker...

After everyone left the kids played some baseball. I have more pictures but I'll just share this cute one of Sydney waiting for her turn.

Sunday we used Easter cookie cutters to cut their sandwiches. His was a flower before he stretched it. I asked him to show me his eyes and this is what I got. lol

What great pictures! I'm glad you, your kids, and family had a great Easter. Easter egg hunts are always fun to do with the kids.

I love the way you decorated those cookies. I can't say I have gotten into frosting cookies, but I love rolling out the dough and using the cookie cutters. I also love using the cookie press machine and eating the dough. Infact I think the dough taste better then the cookies themselves.
