Scott kept himself pretty busy with a bunch of home improvement side jobs. He did a lot of painting for VECA, and then just before starting at Boeing he did this beautiful tile job. Scott helped give them ideas and they decided on this look. Each one of those tiles, even the little ones had to be put up individually. That's a lot of tedious work!
Isn't he so talented?
There isn't a great picture of this, but there was a long lower counter they wanted to be tiled as well. Before, there was a window sill with the counter and inch or two below. To make it look better he built it up so that the counter would be level with the window...
If you look you will notice that Scott had to cut those brown tiles in crazy ways to fit those white ones in, and the outlets.
I love to brag about my awesome husband! I'm so proud of him and his many talents!
And my awesome husband also recently gave me GORGEOUS roses. Major brownie points! :)
Yesterday morning I found a frog and brought it up to the front porch to show the kids(we were about to run errands). When it jumped from my hand Parker jumped and tried to get away. It was pretty funny. It landed on the corner of the house behind the door and Scott took this cool picture...
