We had an awesome Independance Day.
We started off with our ward's breakfast, then went straight to Lake Stevens for some fun in the sand and water. The kids were most excited about this. We got there before 11am so we beat the crowds. It didn't start to get pretty packed until the last 1/2hr we were there. And we were there a little over 2 hrs.
After that we went home for a little rest and nap time for Parker, while Scott took David to get fireworks at Boom City.
When they got home we headed out to my aunt and uncles house where we were joined by my Mom and sister Clarissa for a barbeque and fireworks. It was a great time being with my cousins again!
The kids went inside one by one to watch Cars instead of the fireworks. None of them liked the loud noises very much. Parker stayed out with me, finally laying his head on my shoulder and just resting.
My cousin Katie's kids and mine.
Scott and Andrew were the fireworks masters, and they had a little too much fun with the Roman Candles. :)
My cousin Katie and I. She just moved back to the Seattle area and I am so happy to be near her again! We grew up together.
Sydney seemed to kinda enjoy them for a little before there were some really loud ones and she decided to go inside.

Is that the same park we used to go to at Lake Stevens? I barely remember it.
Also, didn't know Katie moved back to Seattle, how fun!
What great pictures! It was fun spending the 4th of July with you guys. It reminded me of the Fourth of Julys we spent on our Marysville property.
What fun!
